This site is currently being redeveloped. Although it will work fine it will continue to look terrible for a while yet. Sorry!

Returned to London today, arriving about 30 mins ago. Staggered up the stairs and currently trying to work out the sense and sensibility of going straight out again to see ppl in Sarf London as they are tired of life. Need a rest first though whatever.

Flat as I left it (good) except for mail through the letter box (inc. bills - bad), but otherwise all fine. Will have to pop out tomorrow though for the buying of stuff to make food with for the next week or two. Have events to attend on Tuesday, Wednesday of this week, and Wednesday of next, plus maybe this Saturday too. Some of this will depend on my getting some ID photos printed and going to a Post Office to get my tram & bus discount card updated as it expired last week (meaning I pay full not ½ price)

Because of Hurricane Tropical Storm Irene visiting the US East Coast this weekend today's RedSox game was moved forward to yesterday and they amazingly managed to get a double-header played despite long rain breaks. Boston won both and swept the series (yay!) but the downside is this means there is no baseball for me now until Wednesday :-( Currently following tweets from Boston / MA-area friends and hoping their power outages and such don't last too long.

Otherwise life is its usual up-and-down-ness
